Natural Stone Features by Uptown

As the front of the house, the aesthetics of this work was of foremost importance. For this natural stones were used for their beauty.

A raised bed was created with dry stacked stone walls. About a foot of garden soil was brought in to ensure fertility for the owner’s gardening projects for years to come.

The flat areas were subdivided into three areas: one with more soil for further plantings, one with screenings for a neutral clean surface, and one with beautifully cut flagstones. The areas were subdivided with lovely natural cobblestones to give nice borders while preserving the natural stone looked theme. The plantings and overall vision were created by the owner and speaks to their very fine taste in design.
