Because having had bad experiences with contractors myself, I empathise with homeowners. We do professional work and take our responsibilities seriously. Also as a smaller company, we actually know who you are and care about our reputation. You are not just another number. Everyone knows the experience tends to decline the larger a corporation becomes.
We build retaining walls, almost everything with interlocking pavers including patios, walkways, driveways, and provide drainage solutions such as French drains. We also offer excavation services including removal of unwanted bushes, small trees, and shrubs. We do gravel installations as well to create beautiful pathways, driveways, and patios. We also provide Irrigation Installs and Repairs.
Everything. Labor. Materials. Everything associated with the install of the landscaping project whether it’s a retaining wall, a sidewalk, or a French drain.
Around $80 per sq ft. For example, a wall that is 4 ft high and 25 ft long has a face area of 100 sq ft. This means the price will be around $8000 depending on ease of access, location of address, and scale of overall project. Like most things, economies of scale brings unit costs down for larger projects.
Between $25 and $40 per sq ft. For example, a patio measuring 10 ft wide and 10 ft long has an area of 100 sq ft. The price would fall on the higher side of $2500 to $4000 as larger projects are able to utilize economies of scale to lower costs. Overall cost also depends on ease of access, choice of materials (some pavers are more expensive than others), expected load (more load means more base prep needed to avoid sinkage), and design (difficult patterns and lots of curves will cost more).

They are calculated similarly to patios although with driveways, due to the extra load bearing needs of the structure, it will cost more due to more excavation and more base prep needed to avoid sinking.
It’s entirely dependent on ease of access, how long the drain is, and the estimated time to completion. Unfortunately, there is no set formula.
If it’s a machine excavation job and not part of another job, it would be $125 per hour. Otherwise if it’s part of installing a French drain, a patio, a retaining wall, etc., the cost is included.
Once you give us a general idea of the project you are looking for, we give you a rough idea of what to expect in terms of cost and time frame. If you decide this is in line with expectations, you may invite us to do an on-site quote during which time we would find out in more detail on what you are looking to have done. We will then send you a detailed quote that will be the basis of the final price going forward. As mentioned, we have yet to change this quote during or after the project.
Yes. However, rain, snow, and temperatures below 5 Celsius prevent certain materials from setting properly and affect the build quality.
At this time, no. We do, however, demo concrete as part of our installations.
We remove asphalt but do not install them.
Cash, cheques, and most commonly e-transfers.
