New Gravel Driveway Install

We were tasked with installing a new gravel driveway on a sloped angle. This homeowner wanted to use some geogrid for further stability. An existing slab of concrete also needed to be removed for this driveway expansion.

Over 10 yards of topsoil was removed and 12 yards of road base gravel brought in. Due to the depth of the gravel, it needed to be compacted in multiple lifts in order to ensure that all levels were compacted and not just the top. Geogrid was installed along the entire driveway on the homeowner’s property and buried just under the surface. As a result of these measures, this should not only hold significant weight but do so with good stability for many years to come.
